As the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, BookTrust are dedicated to getting children reading. Through their programme BookTrust Represents, they have been able to spotlight and celebrate creatives of colour who they help reach new platforms with their reach to schools nationwide, we’re so delighted to have them as a partner of the Woke Babies Book Awards.

National Literacy Trust

National Literacy Trust’s commitment to accessible and engaging reading for all children makes them a brilliant partner and we are thrilled to have them on board the first ever Woke Babies Book Awards. They understand the importance of inclusivity in children’s books and the importance of children enjoying the books they read to help them excel in school.

World Book Day

World Book Day’s mission is to promote reading for pleasure. They understand that in order for children to have a love for reading, it is important they read books that feature characters that look like them. Akin to Woke Babies values, World Book Day make a fantastic partner for the Woke Babies Book Awards and we are thrilled to have them join us.

Milk Honey Bees

Milk Honey Bees stand for everything we do at Woke Babies. Rooted in creativity and celebration, Milk Honey Bees aims to empower black girls by amplifying their voices. We are delighted to announce that two of their representatives will be hosting the Woke Babies Book Awards on an Instagram live to celebrate black creatives.
