An enchanting tale with parallels to the Little Mermaid, Nen and the Lonely Fisherman tells the beautiful love story between Nen and Ernest. It’s great to see a black children’s book celebrate pride whilst also gently introducing children to the issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. The illustrations are mesmerising from the bright rainbows to the deep, dark blue sea.
